Sheltering from the wind close in to the cliffs

Heading for Lligwy bay, we almost had to rescue some stand up paddle boarders who were not prepared and in danger of being blown out to sea.

The plan was for a lunchstop just before point Lynas. We were paddling with the wind but as we went around a headland we decided that to lengthen the return paddle against the wind would be too much like hard work so we turned around and headed to the beach at Porto Bello for lunch.
