I was transferring to Phuket after lunch so I spent the morning in Ao Nang. A great beach with super views to offshore islands.

I took a walk up a rickety track to the next bay.

The ferry went via Railay beach to pick up extra passengers, boat to boat transfer.

I stayed at Chalong bay on the south east of Phuket for a couple of days. I'd forgotten my wide brimmed hat but found a suitable replacement providing total sun protection for kayaking.

The attractive beach at Nai Han on the south west coast.

But I'd gone to the area to go snorkelling at the quieter nearby beach of Ao Sane.
