A fantastic day and a memorable ride through the heart of Lakeland

The viewpoint at Skelwith Fold

The start of the singletrack up through Iron Keld with some technical ascents in places (too busy climbing to take pictures of those sections)

And views to the south

Joining the track down to the A593

Turning south through the old slate quarries to High Tilberthwaite

Then north to Little Langdale

Crossing the beck

Leaving Little Langdale the singletrack down through the woods was challenging with a scenic break before going through the the live quarry to Elterwater

Onto Loughrigg Terrace

With a superb view over Grasmere

From Ambleside back to Skelwith Bridge, the view to Windermere
