2020-07-29, Arley, Anderton, Whitley

An interesting route exploring some Cheshire backroads and bridleways with Andy. From the Ranger station in Lymm, heading south past Arley Hall, going around the hall to the north including a section across a field. Down to Picmere exploring a track (strictly a footpath, wouldn't do again as turnstiles very tight), via Wincham to Neumann's flashes. Across the nature park to the Anderton boat lift. The cafe was closed so we found a bench for a lunch stop. On to Comberbach then via some bridleways to Higher Whitley. Over the M56 to Hatton and a nice long open bridleway to Appleton reservoir. Then on a track to Stockton Heath and back on tarmac to Grappenhall and return to Lymm. The pictures are all on the most 'rural' part of the bridleways.
