This was to be a very busy day: food market, tsunami memorial, cycle then boat trip, plus transfers.

Coconut milk machine.

The 2004 tsunami memorial park. This was the police boat that was swept 2k inland. There were thousands of fatalities in Thailand and Khao Lak was the worst hit. It was a moving reminder of the tragedy.

On a short minibus transfer before riding, we passed this elephant and handler.

A nice rural part of the ride.

The long tail boat tour.

The famous 'James Bond Island'. Still pulling in the crowds, even though most visitors were born long after the film 'The man with the Golden gun' was made.

Koh Panyi - the Muslim village in the sea. It has grown to a population of 3000, and relies mainly on fishing and tourism.

It even has a football pitch.

Looking down we saw some small Mudskippers frolicking in the mud.
